Web Design Kept Simple

Built right, then kept that way.

Custom WordPress design, hosting, and SEO from someone who's sticks around.

Done Right, Kept For You.

Building custom WordPress websites for small businesses across North Carolina. It starts with a build and grows from there, because a site that never gets touched after launch stops working within a year.

What Makes Us Special

Local & Personal

You work with me, not an agency where you're handed off 3 times then ghosted. I'll be there at launch and long after.

Built for Your Business

Looking good is the baseline. I build for the part you actually care about: more calls, more quote requests, more customers through the door.

Built for AI

Half your customers are asking ChatGPT for a recommendation before they ever open Google. I build your site so your name comes up in that answer.

Straight Talk

If something is going to hurt your website, I'll be the first to tell you.

The KEPT Process

Launch is the starting
line. Everything after
is the job.
01

Kickoff

We'll talk about your goals and whether I'm the right fit for your business. If we are, you get a fixed price and a timeline in writing before any work starts, plus a list of what I need from you.

02

Execution

The build starts and you get a staging link on day one. Drafts come to you as they're ready, so you're never waiting on a big reveal to find out we went the wrong direction.

03

Polish

Two rounds of revisions, and I'll tell you straight if a change is going to hurt the site. Then a final pass on speed, mobile, forms, and every link before anything ships.

04

Takeoff

The site goes live and the real work starts. On a maintenance plan, that means updates, backups, security, and a report every two weeks telling you what I did and what I'm watching.

Secured WordPress Hosting and Maintenance

Once your site goes live that’s when the real work starts. On a maintenance plan, that means updates, backups, security, and a report every two weeks telling you what I did and what I’m watching.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use your hosting?

No, but I’d recommend it. Here’s why: Your site has to live somewhere and you’ll pay for that either way. The difference is whether anyone’s watching it after launch. WordPress needs regular updates, updates will break things, and nobody notices until a customer tells you your form isn’t working. My plan covers hosting, updates, backups, security, and a report every two weeks so you know exactly what’s going on.

What if I don't have the content ready?

Common, and not a problem. Plenty of businesses know what they do but have never written it down. If you can give me the basics on your first call, who you serve, what you sell, and what makes people choose you, I can write the site copy for you. It’s a separate service and I’ll quote it upfront so you know the cost before we start. Bring me anything you’ve already got that sounds like you, even a rough email or a sales pitch you’ve given a hundred times, and I’ll work from there.

Will I be the first result on Google?

Nobody can promise you that, and anyone who does is selling you something. Rankings depend on how competitive your market is, how established your competitors are, and algorithm changes none of us control. What I can tell you is that every site I build ships with the technical SEO in place: proper structure, pages built to be crawled, and a layout that’s easy for people to read, which search engines happen to reward too. Getting to the top of page one is a long game measured in months and years, not weeks. If you want to actually compete for it, that’s what ongoing SEO work is for.

What does a website cost?

It depends on size and complexity, but I’ll give you a real starting point rather than making you fill out a form to find out. Realistically most builds will land between $4,500 and $9,000 and ongoing maintenance and SEO updates run up to $600 a month. My pricing guide breaks down what changes the number. Either way, you’ll have a fixed price in writing before any work starts.

What happens if I want to leave?

It’s your site. I’ll hand over the files and provide you the resources so you can move it wherever you want. No hostage situation, no exit fee.

Can you maintain a site you didn't build?

Sometimes. It depends on how it was put together. Send me the URL and I’ll take a look and tell you straight whether it’s worth maintaining or worth rebuilding.

Let's Talk About Your Brand
